So Remember the other day when I told you I was going to be honest and real with you about my fitness journey? Well here is the real truth, I haven’t worked out all week😦 I feel terrible, this week … Continue reading
True Story! If you know me at all, its clear that i have a slight obsession with animal print PERIOD! I don’t discriminate, cheetah, zebra, leopard, giraffe! I believe in equal opportunity!🙂
I probably should have been born in Jersey or maybe even been a part of the cast of the Jersey Shore, minus the accent and alcohol intake I think I would have fit in well.
These are some amazing little pieces that I would love to own, and if you know where I can find them let me know!
Shoes, shoes, shoes a girl can never have enough:
This is a perfect blend for me Converse and Leopard! Yes please!
As far as clothes go, I would wear it all!
Now lets not forget a little lighter touch with an animal print accessory!
Is that enough Leopard for you! Maybe I should give your eyes a break!
I love Fall for only one reason and thats Leggings and Tunics!! Its literally one of my most favorite things ever to wear! I wish I could wear them everyday! They are so comfortable. Warning: Leggings/Tights are not meant to … Continue reading

This is what I have to keep telling myself everyday! Especially on days like today. I woke up extremely sore this morning and with a raging headache. The absolute last thing I wanted to do was my workout. I dropped … Continue reading
I am really excited to get back to blogging! I have been away for far too long, and decided my best way to get started back is to share my fitness journey with you! Is that ok?
I have been using supplements now since May, and have had amazing results with that alone, but Im still not exactly where I want to be after having 3 kiddos. For the past year I have been going to the gym about 3-4 times a week, but due to different reasons have had to cancel my membership😦 I love to run and have been doing that as well but not as much as I would like. Its difficult to get out and run when you have a small child at home.
Since I have been loving AdvoCare products so much, I decided to try their DVD workout series called CU24 Level 2!
Can you 24 comes with 4 discs, all workouts are only 24 minutes which I think should be pretty easy to fit into my schedule! There are four parts, melt, sculpt, shred, and supplemental workouts ie..upper body, core and yoga. All you need is maybe a mat if your working out on a hard surface, an exercise ball and some resistance bands.
It comes with this super duper handy dandy calendar that helps you keep track of what workouts to do on what days and have a check box that you can mark off to keep you on track!
So here we go, today I started Day 1, I took all my before pics (embarrassing, lol) I will post those at the end next to my afters! I also took all my measurements which i have posted.
WOW!! That is the only word I have for the first workout today! It kicked my booty!! I actually wasn’t expecting it to be that hard!! It was 24 minutes of pure torture, and just proves to me how out of shape I have allowed myself to get! I had to modify some of the workouts but I did finish🙂
^^^^^That is me! Dying! hahahah
I plan on using this blog to journal my days, to help hold myself accountable and I plan to be really raw and honest about everything! This will most definitely be a journey!
I hope that you will follow along with me, if you want to join me you are more than welcome!
These are the supplements I will be adding everyday to really boost my results!!
If you want to check any of these things out here is my website!
This post may be a little bit rough because I had not planned on blogging about this meal but it was just so delicious that I had to share!
Growing up in South Africa, Shepherd’s Pie was always a staple in our family! I decided to try and make it a little bit more healthy and gluten free. The idea just popped in my head one day and I was a little unsure about the combination, but wow did this turn out yummy!
I don’t have 100% perfect measurements I don’t usually cook that way so I will try my best!
1T olive oil
1lb ground turkey
1/2 onion chopped
1 cup of mixed veggies (this is an estimate, just put what you like)
1 sachet of simply organics roast chicken gravy (pic above)
1 cup of water
2 cans of sweet potato (you can sub baked sweet potato)
Preheat the oven to 350
In a sauté pan put the olive oil and cook the onion just a little bit. Then add the ground turkey until all the way cooked through. Add the sachet of gravy with 1 cup of water and cook until thickened just a couple minutes. Now add the veggies.
I heated the canned sweet potatoes then poured the excess juice out and mashed them. If you use baked sweet potato that will work as well, just bake and mash.
In an oven safe dish put the ground turkey mixture all over the bottom, then place the mashed sweet potato on top. Bake for 15-20 min!
It’s so simple, so easy and so delicious! The hardest part was leaving some for my husband to eat when he gets home!!!
I would say this only serves about two.
